The Rock Writer Hunger Games: Vegas Edition Four Bands Three Different Venues All In The Same Night All At The Same Time!

 Everybody's Working for The Weekend! Does that include music journalists like me?

Let me get to the point! Here's my story.

On nights like tonight, is Vegas trying to 86 this old music journalist, or not?

I’m just gonna say it: the Las Vegas music scene is out here trying to kill me. Not gently. Not respectfully. No, no — they’re trying to take me out John Wick–style, but with guitars and overlapping set times. Tonight, FOUR bands (Shows) I love — not like, not “oh they’re cool,” but LOVE — have all decided to perform at almost the exact same time, spread across three different venues like they coordinated a secret group chat titled “Let’s get even with Gary tonight.”

And of course, every show is already standing‑room‑only. People (Fans) be lined up like it’s a Black Friday sale at Guitar Center. Meanwhile, I’m sitting here with my blog, my camera, my notebook, and exactly ONE body. One. Uno. Singular. Not four. Not even two. Just one overworked rock writer trying to figure out how to be in three places at once without violating the laws of physics or spontaneously combusting in a parking lot on the Las Vegas Strip!

These aren’t filler bands. These aren’t “maybe next time” bands. These 4 bands are headliner‑quality, fan‑favorite, Vegas‑scene heavy hitters. The kind of bands where if you miss the show, someone will absolutely tell you about it the next day, “Bro, you should’ve been there,” and you’ll feel it in your soul!

Right now, I’m staring at the schedule like it’s a hostage negotiation!

At Santa Fe Station, Doors at 7 pm, show at 8 pm, it's Rob Garrett's Tribute to the great Neil Diamond show.

Next, in the Copa Room, Tuscany Suites Casino, Doors at 8pm Show at 9pm, It's The Rain Dogs & LV/DC.

For the 3rd venue. Rio Hotel Casino: At 6pm Meet & Greet with Counting Cars, followed at 9pm, Count's 77 brings it to the Rio!
