The Divisional Round is now locked in, and it’s a killer slate. All four matchups are officially set after Wild Card Weekend, and every one of them has a storyline baked in!

AFC Matchups

Buffalo Bills at Denver Broncos

  • Buffalo comes in hot after upsetting Jacksonville.

  • Denver is the AFC’s top seed with a week of rest and a defense that’s been closing out tight games all year.

  • Oddsmakers have this as the closest matchup of the round — Bills favored by just –1.5 at some books.

Houston Texans at New England Patriots

  • Texans rolled over Pittsburgh 30–6 to punch their ticket.

  • New England is riding the Drake Maye wave after beating the Chargers and finishing worst‑to‑first in the AFC East.

  • Patriots are slight favorites at –2.5.

 NFC Matchups

San Francisco 49ers at Seattle Seahawks

  • San Francisco knocked out the defending champion Eagles despite losing George Kittle to an Achilles injury.

  • Seattle is the NFC’s top seed and enters on a massive late‑season surge.

  • The Seahawks are favored by 7.5, the biggest spread of the round.

Los Angeles Rams at Chicago Bears

  • The Rams handled Carolina to advance.

  • Chicago pulled off a wild comeback against Green Bay to earn the home game.

  • The Rams are slight road favorites at –3.5.

Divisional Weekend always separates the loud from the legitimate, and this year’s field is built for drama. Every team that remains has a path, every matchup has a hinge point, and every fan base can convince itself of a Super Bowl run if it squints just right. By Sunday night, the bracket will be carved down to four — the ones who handled the moment instead of getting swallowed by it. January doesn’t care about résumés. It rewards execution, toughness, and the teams that refuse to blink when the season hangs in the balance!
