If you want to know what pure Las Vegas entertainment feels like, spend one night with Wonderboogie, the city’s longest‑running, most successful ’70s disco tribute band. Their show at The Orleans on Saturday night was nothing short of a time‑machine blast back into the golden age of funk, polyester, and platform shoes.
Wonderboogie has been lighting up Las Vegas stages for many years, building a reputation as the undisputed kings of the disco revival. Saturday’s lineup was a powerhouse:
Jiffy Papageorgio – Lead Vocals A voice built for disco—strong, soulful, and soaring. Jiffy doesn’t just sing the hits; he commands them. Every note felt like it came straight off a vintage vinyl record.
Rolo McFlurry – Lead Guitar Sharp, funky, and dripping with groove. Rolo’s guitar lines cut through the room like a neon beam, giving every classic that authentic ’70s shimmer.
Franklin “Boom Boom” Washington – Bass The heartbeat of the band. Boom Boom’s bass lines were thick, warm, and impossible not to move to. He’s the reason the dance floor stayed packed all night.
Roscoe “DaMoonman” Jenkins – Drums A rhythmic machine. DaMoonman kept the entire room locked into the groove with precision, swagger, and that unmistakable disco pocket.
Wonderboogie rolled through the biggest hits of the disco era, each one delivered with Vegas‑level polish:

If the song was a disco hit, Wonderboogie does it—and they do it right!
The crowd lit up for the Cupid Shuffle and the always‑iconic Love Train, forming lines, circles, and spontaneous dance mobs that made the entire showroom feel like a 1978 nightclub.
For a moment, you could swear you were back in bell‑bottom jeans, hot pants, and platform shoes, surrounded by the glitter and glamour of the original disco craze.
