The West Ballroom inside the Rampart Casino Hotel roared to life last night as Rok Of Ages took the stage and delivered a blistering three hours of Classic Rock's best, turning the Rampart into the Sunset Strip circa 1987, with a packed ballroom and dance floor, and the air thick with nostalgia that Classic Rock brings. Rok Of Ages proved once again why they’re one of the reigning torchbearers of classic rock tribute culture!
The Lineup That Lit the Fuse Inside Of The Rampart Last Night.
(Pictured Left To Right)
Steve Burchell shredded on lead guitar with precision and fire, weaving solos that paid homage to the greats while stamping his own signature on every lick. His interplay with lead vocalist Malanowski was pure arena magic.
Peter Dallas on drums was the heartbeat of the night, driving the set with thunderous fills and tight transitions. His solos and his drum fills were off the charts! One of the most versatile drummers in the business!
Stephen Austin Malanowski commanded the stage on lead vocals, channeling the swagger of glam-era frontmen with a voice that cut through the mix like chrome through velvet. His gritty high notes and theatrical flair had the crowd singing along from the first chorus, and the dance floor full throughout the night!
Tony Breit held down the low end on bass, locking in with the drums and adding melodic flourishes that elevated the arrangements beyond mere imitation. His natural groove and mechanics on the bass make him one of the best in the Biz!
As the final chords rang out and the lights went dim, Rok Of Ages left the stage, but not before etching another unforgettable night into the Vegas rock lore. With a lineup that honors the legends and with a performance that would make the legends proud, Rok Of Ages reminded Vegas that rock isn’t just a genre, it’s a way of life!
