 After cranking out four band reviews on Saturday, and a month of deadlines, my soul needed a full‑throttle spiritual rinse. So, I rolled into the Copa Room inside Tuscany Suites Casino for a little Rock ’n’ Roll Church. Lead Pastor Andrew Freeman was already posted up front, flanked by his powerhouse clergy. On lead guitar, Christian Brady. On bass, Barry Barnes. And on drums, Shon McKee.

Today’s two‑hour service rolled out more than fifteen chapters of amplified scripture. Highlights from today's service included: The congregation getting hit with Romero Delight, followed by the rebellious gospel of School’s Out. Then came a thunderous reading from the book of Heaven and Hell.

From the book of Krokus, they delivered Screaming in the Night, and from the book of Genesis, the congregation rose for Turn It On Again. A fiery passage from the book of STYX — Renegade — brought the room to its feet.

And to close out today’s service, they slammed down the final verse with the almighty Ace of Spades.

By the time the final chord of Ace of Spades rattled the Copa Room, I felt lighter, clearer, and a whole lot more human. Whatever grime had built up from a month of reviews got blasted clean by two hours of amplified salvation. That’s the magic of the Rock ’n’ Roll church — you walk in carrying the weight of the world, and you walk out ready to take on the Las Vegas Strip again!
