Rock Rock Till They Drop: Pyromania Delivered A Def Leppard Masterclass Inside The Tuscany Suites Casino Copa Room Last Night!

Most tribute bands never make it out of the gate. Lineups change, personalities collide, gigs start drying up, and before long the workload outweighs the payoff. The few that survive build a loyal following, lock in repeat bookings, and maintain a stable lineup, giving them a fighting chance at reaching the ten-year mark.

But crossing the 20-year threshold is rock 'n' roll rarified air. At that point, a tribute band is no longer just paying homage to an artist, they've become a brand of their own. Fans keep coming back year after year, casinos and festivals know their name, and their reputation starts carrying as much weight as the music they're celebrating.

Bands like Pyromania, performing since 2002, belong to that elite fraternity. More than two decades on the road is an impressive accomplishment for any act, and even more remarkable in the tribute-band world. After witnessing last night's performance, it's easy to understand why Pyromania has remained a force on the world music scene for more than 24 years. They didn't just play the songs, they proved exactly why they've stood the test of time!

Last night, Pyromania blew through Def Leppard's catalog with the power, precision, and swagger of a band that has spent decades perfecting its craft. The setlist packed plenty of punches, including "Rock Rock (Till You Drop)," "Let It Go," "Another Hit and Run," "Photograph," "Animal," "Billy's Got a Gun," "Rock of Ages," "Foolin'," "Love Bites," "Rocket," "Armageddon It," and "Hysteria," before closing out the night with the ultimate Def Leppard anthem, "Pour Some Sugar on Me."

A big reason for the band's longevity is the caliber of musicians on stage. Frontman Andrew Freeman commands the spotlight with a powerful vocal range, magnetic stage presence, and the confidence of a seasoned rocker who has performed alongside some of hard rock's biggest names. He doesn't simply sing the songs, he attacks them with the energy and swagger that made Def Leppard an arena-rock phenomenon.

On guitar, Neal Shelton, a founding member of Pyromania, has been one of the driving forces behind the band's success from day one. More than two decades later, his passion for the music and commitment to authenticity continue to serve as the backbone of the production. His vision helped build Pyromania into one of the most respected Def Leppard tributes on the planet.

Behind the kit, James Schultz delivers the thunder. His hard-hitting style, rock-solid timing, and ability to recreate the powerful Def Leppard drum sound keep the engine running at full throttle from the first song to the last encore.

Holding down the low end is Patrick Jay McGrath, whose bass work provides the foundation that allows the band to soar. Locked in with the drums, McGrath supplies the groove, punch, and musical muscle that keeps every classic anthem hitting with maximum impact.

Completing the twin-guitar attack is Brandon Paul, whose impressive chops, stage presence, and attention to detail help bring Def Leppard's layered guitar sound to life. Whether delivering soaring leads or locking into those signature riffs, Paul's performance is a key ingredient in the band's arena-sized sound.

{My Take}

From the opening notes to the final sing-along, the crowd was treated to a masterclass in arena rock. After witnessing last night's performance, it's easy to understand why Pyromania has remained a force on the tribute circuit for more than 24 years. They didn't just perform the songs; they delivered a full-blown Def Leppard experience!

What an awesome show!
Rock Rock Till You Drop? Mission accomplished. 🤘🎸🔥

BYOB Children Of The Korn & Smashing Alice: Vegas Crowd Magnets That Pack The House!

Today, I'm digging through fan mail, blog comments, and Facebook messages, and one comment jumped off the screen louder than a Marshall stack cranked to 11. It came from Craig, a die-hard music fan, a BaDD-A$$ drummer in our local music scene, and one cool dude. Craig fired off this observation about my blog post yesterday: Read it < Here >

"If you're really plugged in to the so-called scene, you would have heard from the people that own the Tuscany that BYOB and Children Of The Korn and Smashing Alice pack that room more than anyone, every single time."

First things first. The blog I wrote yesterday was based strictly on the stats from that particular week, not an all-time scoreboard. And yes, I know all three bands Craig mentioned. More importantly, all three have proven time and time again that they can put bodies through the front door and keep crowds coming back for more. So, let's shine the spotlight where it belongs.

Band Page

BYOB has become one of those bands that Vegas rock fans circle on the calendar the moment a show is announced. Bringing the power, energy, and attitude of System Of A Down to the stage, they don't just perform songs, they launch an all-out assault on your senses. The band's loyal following is no accident. They've earned every fan one thunderous performance at a time, packing venues with people who know exactly what they're getting: a high-octane night of controlled chaos and heavy-hitting rock.

Band Page

Then there's Children Of The Korn, a tribute that captures the raw intensity, groove, and aggression that made Korn one of the biggest names in nu-metal history. From the moment they hit the stage, the crowd is locked in. Heads start banging, fists go in the air, and the energy level skyrockets. Their shows aren't just concerts; they're gatherings for an entire tribe of fans who refuse to let the spirit of nu-metal fade away.

Band Page

And let's not forget Smashing Alice, a band that continues to build a reputation for delivering hard rock with conviction, attitude, and authenticity. Their performances connect with audiences because they're fueled by a genuine love of the music and a determination to leave everything on the stage. Every time they roll into a venue, they bring a crowd that's ready to rock, and they never leave disappointed!

The bottom line? Las Vegas is loaded with great bands, but these three have earned their place in the conversation. They've built loyal fan bases, consistently draw strong crowds, and remind us why the local rock scene is alive and kicking. So the next time BYOB, Children Of The Korn, or Smashing Alice lands on a local bill, quit scrolling, grab your friends, head to the venue, buy a ticket, and support live music. These 3 bands are bringing the noise!

Check out their links below their Band Pics, mark your calendars, and get yourself to a show. There's nothing like experiencing these bands live, where the lights are blazing, the amps are roaring, and the energy hits you right in the chest. Support the local scene, support live music, and discover why BYOB, Children Of The Korn, and Smashing Alice continue to pack rooms and keep Vegas rock fans coming back for more. Trust me, this is one concert recommendation you don't want to scroll past. 🤘🔥🎸

The Gospel According To Rock ’n’ Roll: Today's Final Sunday Of The Month Revival At The Tuscany Suites Casino

After cranking out four band reviews on Saturday, and a month of deadlines, my soul needed a full‑throttle spiritual rinse. So, I rolled into the Copa Room inside Tuscany Suites Casino for a little Rock ’n’ Roll Church. Lead Pastor Andrew Freeman was already posted up front, flanked by his powerhouse clergy. On lead guitar, Christian Brady. On bass, Barry Barnes. And on drums, Shon McKee.

About the lead pastor of music and his clergy staff.

Andrew Freeman — Lead Pastor

Andrew Freeman isn’t just the frontman — he’s the spiritual detonator. When he steps up to the mic, the room shifts. He’s got that preacher‑with‑a‑Marshall‑stack energy: part sermon, part scream therapy, part rock‑opera storyteller. He guides the congregation with vocal firepower, charisma, and the kind of stage command that makes you forget you’re inside a casino and not a packed arena.

Christian Brady — Lead Guitar

Christian Brady is the sonic architect — the guy who turns the “service” into a full‑body experience. His guitar work is sharp, melodic, and explosive, like he’s carving scripture into the air with every riff. He plays with that veteran confidence: no wasted motion, no filler, just pure tone and precision. When he leans into a solo, it feels like the roof lifts a little.

Barry Barnes — Bass

Barry Barnes is the heartbeat of the congregation — the low‑end minister keeping the whole room grounded. His bass lines don’t just support the music; they drive it. He’s got that steady, unshakeable presence onstage, the kind of player who locks in and makes everything feel bigger, tighter, and more alive. If the band is a machine, he’s the engine block.

Shon McKee — Drums

Shon McKee is the thunder behind the pulpit — the rhythmic pastor who keeps the service marching forward. His drumming is crisp, powerful, and full of personality. He hits with intention, never clutters, and always grooves. When he kicks into a fill, it’s like a lightning strike that snaps the whole room awake.

----------

The four stepped up and launched into a soul-searching service that hit harder than a revival tent struck by desert lightning!

Today’s two‑hour service rolled out more than fifteen chapters of amplified scripture. Highlights from today's service included: The congregation getting hit with Romero Delight, followed by the rebellious gospel of School’s Out. Then came a thunderous reading from the book of Heaven and Hell.

From the book of Krokus, they delivered Screaming in the Night, and from the book of Genesis, the congregation rose for Turn It On Again. A fiery passage from the book of STYX — Renegade — brought the room to its feet.

And to close out today’s service, they slammed down the final verse with the almighty Ace of Spades.

By the time the final chord of Ace of Spades rattled the Copa Room, I felt lighter, clearer, and a whole lot more human. Whatever grime had built up from a month of reviews got blasted clean by two hours of amplified salvation. That’s the magic of the Rock ’n’ Roll church — you walk in carrying the weight of the world, and you walk out ready to take on the Las Vegas Strip again!

And if you missed today’s service, don’t worry: the next revival hits every final Sunday of the month, when Pastor Freeman and his clergy return to deliver another electrified sermon!

Las Vegas Tuscany Suites Casino Copa Room: Two Bands One Night Total Vegas Destruction!

Part two of my Saturday night (July 25th) music adventure is coming in hot. If you missed the first blast, catch part 1 here and get yourself up to speed. After soaking in two original‑music BadA$$ bands at the Artist Showcase Night at Sixx Gun Music, the night shifted gears and slammed straight into the Tuscany Suites Casino Copa Room — home turf for two bands every Sin City rocker knows by heart. Saints of Las Vegas and Children of the Grave (Black Sabbath tribute) hit the stage like thunder, two fully established forces of Vegas badassery that don’t need introductions, explanations, or hype. They just show up, plug in, and level the room!

As soon as The Saints of Las Vegas hit the stage, the whole room detonated. Chaos didn’t creep in — it erupted. Amps roared wide‑open, fans surged toward the stage like a Mojave dust storm ripping through town, and the Copa Room flipped from calm to full‑tilt rock mayhem in seconds. The Saints didn’t just start their set… they unleashed it, turning the night into the kind of wild, neon‑lit frenzy only Vegas bands know how to deliver.

They blasted the night wide open with a killer run of crowd‑pleasers — Boys of Summer, Tragedy, Man in the Box, Life In The Fast Lane, She's Got Legs, ZZ Top, How Soon Is Now, Toys in the Attic, and Ace of Spades, just to name a few. It was a rapid‑fire barrage of hits, each one landing harder than the last, turning the room into a full‑tilt rock cyclone that only Vegas bands can conjure!

The Saints are straight‑up legendary in Las Vegas — a hometown rock institution that’s been lighting up stages and blowing out amps for years. And when they hit the Copa Room, the lineup was stacked with Sin City heavy hitters, each one bringing their own brand of grit, charm, and rock‑and‑roll fire.

John Ryan Robertson — Vocals

John Ryan Robertson is the spark plug out front, firing up every crowd with rock‑star charm and razor‑sharp charisma. His comedic grit and stage swagger keep the show moving like a runaway freight train. He’s the kind of frontman who owns the room the second he steps into the lights.

Brent Muscat — Lead Guitar

Brent Muscat brings world‑tour pedigree straight from his Faster Pussycat days, delivering riffs that hit with veteran precision. His tone is unmistakable, his solos slice through the room, and his presence screams pure rock lineage. When Muscat plugs in, the night shifts into high gear.

Michael “Doc” Ellis — Guitar

Doc Ellis is a guitar hero with desert‑forged grit and a blues‑heavy attack that commands attention. His playing is raw, powerful, and dripping with veteran swagger. He’s the quiet assassin onstage — until he unleashes a riff that stops the room cold.

Keith Trombino — Bass

Keith Trombino holds down the low end with thick, punchy bass lines that shake the floorboards. He plays with a heavy, no‑nonsense grit that gives the Saints their backbone. When Keith locks in, the whole band hits harder.

Pat Caruso — Drums

Pat Caruso drives the Saints with clean, powerful, dead‑on drumming that keeps every song tight. He’s the rhythmic anchor, the heartbeat behind the chaos. Pat’s precision gives the band its unstoppable momentum.

Put these five Vegas warriors on one stage and you don’t just get a show — you get a full‑scale Sin City detonation, the kind of rock explosion that proves The Saints of Las Vegas aren’t just legendary… they’re unstoppable. When these guys lock in, the whole room feels it — the lights seem brighter, the amps seem louder, and the crowd surges like the Strip on a Saturday night. It’s that rare, combustible chemistry where every player hits with maximum force, feeding off the neon, the noise, and the madness of Vegas itself.

This isn’t just a band firing on all cylinders — it’s a rock machine built from pedigree, grit, and decades of stage warfare. When The Saints unleash, the city doesn’t just listen… it bows.

----------

Next up came the dark‑side detonator — Children Of The Grave, the Ozzy‑chanting, Sabbath‑soaked wrecking crew that storms the stage like they were summoned straight from the underworld. This band doesn’t cover Black Sabbath… they resurrect it. The moment they hit the lights, the room shifts, the air thickens, and every fan feels that familiar jolt — the one that says you’re about to get blasted with the kind of heavy, doom‑laden power that made Sabbath immortal.

Children Of The Grave plays with a ferocity that would make Ozzy grin!

Their guitar madman grinds with that unmistakable Sabbath weight — thick, dirty, and heavy enough to shake the walls — while the bass rolls through the room like a full‑force Vegas quake under the Strip. The drums don’t just keep time; they hit with bunker‑busting intensity, every strike landing like a shockwave. And the vocals? Pure dark‑theater electricity, soaring and snarling with that eerie, iconic Sabbath vibe that grabs the crowd by the spine. Children Of The Grave doesn’t imitate; they duplicate!

This crew is the real deal — a Vegas powerhouse that doesn’t just honor Black Sabbath’s legacy; they ignite it. Every crushing riff, every rumbling low‑end blast, every spine‑rattling chorus feels like a resurrection of the godfathers of heavy metal. When Children Of The Grave storms the stage, Sin City gets a loud, undeniable reminder that Sabbath’s shadow still rules the night!

Last night, Children Of The Grave tore into the room with an unmistakable, heavy‑metal battle cry — opening with Paranoid, War Pigs, Wicked World, Mr. Crowley, Children Of The Grave, and Crazy Train, among other dark‑side classics. Each song hit like a chapter out of heavy‑metal scripture, the kind of tracks that didn’t just shape rock history — they rewired it.

Paranoid is the anthem that launched a thousand metal bands, a raw, frantic blast that defined the early sound of heavy music. War Pigs remains one of the most powerful anti‑war epics ever written, its grinding riffs and battlefield‑march rhythm still shaking audiences decades later. Wicked World dives into Sabbath’s blues‑rooted darkness, a reminder of how the band fused grit and doom into something entirely new.

When they dropped Mr. Crowley, the room lit up — Ozzy’s solo-era masterpiece, dripping with mystique and Randy Rhoads’ legendary guitar wizardry. Children Of The Grave itself is pure Sabbath rebellion, a pounding, apocalyptic warning wrapped in one of the heaviest riffs of its era. And Crazy Train? That’s the eternal Ozzy rallying cry — a high‑voltage shockwave that helped define modern metal and still electrifies crowds every time it hits.

Children Of The Grave didn’t just play these songs — they unleashed them, reminding Vegas why these tracks still stand as pillars of heavy‑metal history!

Who are these musicians who bring the music back from the grave?

Mike Yoder — Vocals

Mike Yoder channels Ozzy with a precision that borders on supernatural. He’s got that eerie vibrato, that wild‑eyed stage presence, and that unmistakable Sabbath snarl that grabs the crowd by the throat. When he steps to the mic, it doesn’t feel like a tribute — it feels like Ozzy himself just walked out of the shadows.

Max Rico — Lead Guitar

Max Rico brings the Tony Iommi fire with riffs that grind like steel and solos that slice through the room with doom‑laden authority. His tone is thick, heavy, and dripping with that classic Sabbath menace. Max doesn’t imitate Iommi — he summons him, delivering guitar work that feels forged in the same molten pit!

Keith Trombino — Bass

Keith Trombino flips into full dark‑mode here, blasting bass lines that rumble like a Vegas quake under the Strip. His low end is monstrous — thick, punishing, and locked in with the exact weight Sabbath demands. When Keith digs in, the whole room shakes like the gates of hell just cracked open!

Bryan Lorenzo — Drums

Bryan Lorenzo drives the band with bunker‑busting force, pounding out Sabbath’s iconic rhythms with deadly accuracy. His drumming hits like artillery — thunderous, relentless, and perfectly synced to the band’s dark‑side energy. Bryan doesn’t just keep time; he sets the battlefield!

Put these four together and Children Of The Grave becomes a full‑scale heavy‑metal resurrection — a dark, roaring, Vegas‑born tribute that doesn’t just honor Black Sabbath… it makes them proud. When Mike Yoder, Max Rico, Keith Trombino, and Bryan Lorenzo lock in, the whole room feels that seismic shift — the kind of energy that turns a tribute set into a ritual. The riffs get heavier, the air gets darker, and the crowd gets pulled straight into that Sabbath vortex where every note feels carved from the underworld.

This lineup doesn’t just recreate the classics — they weaponize them. They bring the weight, the menace, and the raw electricity that defined the birth of heavy metal, delivering it with a modern Vegas ferocity that hits harder than ever. Children Of The Grave is the kind of band that reminds Sin City why Sabbath’s legacy still towers over the genre like a monolith of doom!

----------

Once again, the Tuscany Suites Casino Copa Room proved why it’s one of the most beloved battlegrounds in the Las Vegas music scene. Management didn’t just book bands — they brought in the exact heavy hitters the fans crave, the kind of acts that turn a Saturday night into a full‑tilt rock riot. This venue is a gem: killer lights, chest‑thumping sound, and a bar staff that works with the speed and swagger of seasoned rock pros.

Fans love the Tuscany. Musicians love the Tuscany. And this rock writer — me — absolutely does too. It’s one of the few rooms in Vegas where every show feels like a celebration of the city’s loud, loyal, neon‑soaked music culture. The Local Las Vegas Music Scene!

This Saturday July 11th: Lee Canyon Goes Classic Rock Loud In The Afternoon — Later that Night The Metal Gods Burn It Down Inside The Tuscany Suites Casino Copa Room LV

Coming This Saturday, July 11th, 2026

This Saturday, July 11th isn’t just a date on the calendar —

It’s a full‑throttle rock‑writer gauntlet, the kind of day that reminds me why I still drag my boots into the wild for the music that raised me.

Click on pic to enlarge

⚡ Mountain‑Top Classic Rock Mayhem

High on the mountain, in the open air where the wind carries every riff like a battle cry, Retrosonic is set to unleash a classic‑rock avalanche — 60s soul, 70s thunder, 80s fire, 90s grit. Watch the ridgeline. When these guys (and gal) plug in, rockslides aren’t a geological event; they’re a setlist consequence. This band doesn’t “play” the mountain. They make the mountain rumble, and after this weekend, Mount Charleston and the Lee Canyon Ski Resort may never be the same!

⚔ Nightfall: Heavy Metal Double‑Strike

Then the sun drops, the lights rise, and the night turns metallic.

  • High Priest is a heavy‑metal ignition squad, the ultimate Judas Priest tribute inferno — a band that doesn’t just honor the pioneers of British steel; they reignite the furnace. Coming off a recent engagement at the Whisky in Hollywood, they're ready to bring their fire back to Las Vegas! They'll hit the stage in full leather‑and‑stud armor, guitars slicing through the air, drums landing like hammer strikes, and vocals sharp enough to cut steel. It’s not imitation; it’s steel‑cutting screams and molten‑metal energy roaring back to life under the desert sky.

  • Fatal Illusions hits like a Megadeth thrash assault — a precision‑tooled, adrenaline‑charged homage to one of the Big Four of thrash metal that feels less like a tribute and more like a deployment. They channel Megadeth’s razor‑wire riffing, battlefield‑march rhythms, and that unmistakable snarling attitude with such ferocity that the air itself seems to tighten. Every down‑picked riff land like artillery, every solo slices through the night like shrapnel, and the crowd becomes part of the blast radius. This isn’t nostalgia; it’s a reenactment of the battlefield, a thrash‑metal warzone roaring back to life under the desert sky.

🎸 Just Another Day in the Rock Trenches

So yeah — sunrise to midnight, mountain quakes to metal carnage. Just another chapter in the ongoing saga of a rock journalist’s life. Some people collect stamps. I collect decibels, bruises, and stories that smell like amplifier heat.

Someone's got to be a rock writer. And I'm glad that it's me!

Where The Riffs Do The Healing: Freeman Brady Barnes & McKee Bring The Revival To The Tuscany Suites Casino Copa Room LV

This past Sunday afternoon, the wife and I rolled into the Copa Room inside of the Tuscany Suites Casino looking for a jolt — the kind of sonic reset only a wall of amps and a band with something to say can deliver. We needed our spirits lifted, our minds realigned, and our bodies blasted clean by the high‑octane energy of the Rock n’ Roll Church.

Out front on the podium, Andrew Freeman wasn’t just addressing the crowd — he was igniting it, blasting the room with his gravel‑edged comedy and his full‑tilt rock‑star charisma that makes you sit up straighter and think, yeah, this guy came to Testify!

Christian Brady didn’t just play guitar — he unleashed it. Every riff came off his fretboard like a precision‑guided missile, fired with that seasoned‑pro confidence only Vegas Road dogs truly master. His tone had teeth, his solos had altitude, and every time he leaned into a bend, the whole room felt the floor move!

Barry Barnes held down the low end like a man guarding the gates of groove. His bass lines weren’t just supportive — they were commanding, pulsing through the Copa Room like a heartbeat with attitude. Every thump carried that deep, unshakeable conviction that only a lifer in the rock trenches can deliver!

Shon McKee didn’t simply keep time — he took it, reshaped it, and hurled it back at the crowd with explosive authority. His drumming was a full‑body experience: sharp, thunderous, and impossible to ignore. When he locked in, the whole room snapped to attention like he’d just flipped a switch on everyone’s body & soul!

The band ripped through spirit‑lifting anthems — Come Together, Hollywood Nights, blasts of KISS, Bob Seger, Ozzy — all wrapped in the band’s trademark humor, swagger, and camaraderie. It’s the kind of show that doesn’t just entertain you; it recalibrates your soul!

The Rock n’ Roll Church hits the Copa Room every final Sunday of the month, with the next service landing on July 26th. If you’re craving a cleansed body and soul, some spirited laughter, and a full‑throttle rock fix, this is the place to be!

Metal Mayhem Inside The Copa Room: Dirty Ratt & Red Hot Blow The Roof Off The Tuscany Suites Las Vegas!

Saturday, June 27th, 2026

When I rolled out of bed this morning, the mission was simple: blast it across the desert sky that my wife and I — along with a shoulder‑to‑shoulder, wall‑to‑wall, standing‑room‑only mob of metal diehards — just lived through one of those nights that remind you why live music still matters! Metal Rules! No room in this house, no room in that showroom, no room anywhere except the stage and the sound system roaring like a jet engine on takeoff!

What was supposed to be me hammering out a straight‑up review of two killer metal bands turned into something way better — me ditching the notebook, snapping a few raw, sweaty photos, and just living in the moment. Laughing with friends, talking trash, soaking up every decibel from the first blast of heat to the final knockout punch. Last night .. I was a fan!

So, here's my Rock Writer slash Fan review of how last night went down!

The night opened with Dirty Ratt, a band so hot they could’ve melted the Copa Room carpet. They came out swinging with Wanted Man, tore through The Morning After, and slammed the door shut on their 50‑minute assault with Lay It Down — all wrapped inside a setlist that would make the original Ratt boys grin from ear to ear. Pure Sunset Strip energy, no filter, no brakes, pure metal mayhem!

Dirty Ratt - Tribute To LA's (Hollywood) Legendary Metal Band, RATT band members:

Dirty Ratt doesn’t just have a lineup — they roll in like a street gang of Sunset Strip survivors ready to torch the stage.

Out front, leading the charge, is Tate Thibodeaux — a vocalist who doesn’t sing so much as command the room. He steps up to the mic like a front‑line general, firing off vocals that grab the whole room by the collar and make everyone pay attention! Can you say, Stephen Pearcy!?

On guitar and backing vocals, Alan Woretschek brings the grit, the grind, and the kind of tone that could sandblast chrome! He's a six‑string street fighter whose riffs hit like they’ve been sharpened on a back‑alley brick wall! He's a Kung Fu Fighter on guitar!

Holding down the low end with a snarl, Keith Trombino fires off bass lines and backing vocals like he’s wiring the whole place for detonation. When he digs in, that bass doesn’t just rumble, it hits like a steel‑toed boot to the chest, the kind of seismic thump that makes the walls sweat and the crowd brace for impact like a comet falling to earth on impact!

Sharing six‑string duties, Chris Miggiani slices through the mix with riffs sharp enough to draw blood. the kind of guitarist whose tone doesn’t just cut, it carves, leaving scorch marks on every note and song he plays!

And on the shins — the heartbeat, the engine, the artillery — Gus Camargo drives the whole machine like he’s trying to crack the earth’s crust. Hammering the skins with such volcanic force that every strike feels like it’s daring the room to withstand just one more blast!

{My Take On Dirty Ratt}

"Dirty Ratt rolls in like a fully armed street battalion. Together, they’re not just a band — they’re a five‑man wrecking crew, built for volume, danger, and pure, unapologetic metal badassery! Bring this band back to Sin City" ~Gary England~

----------

The next blast of the night came locked, loaded, and extremely dangerous — another heavy‑metal wrecking crew, born in Hollywood but reborn in Sin City. The tribute torch now burns in Las Vegas, carried proudly by Red Hot, the full‑throttle Mötley Crüe Experience that hits like a jet‑engine scream in a casino showroom!

Out front on lead vocals, Rob Hussey channels the Crüe snarl with enough swagger to rattle the chandeliers in the high-limit room! When he steps up to the mic, he unleashes that wild‑eyed, leather‑soaked front‑man energy that makes the whole room feel like it’s teetering on the edge of a full‑blown Sunset Strip riot in CA!

On guitar, Laurent Cassiano fires off riffs like he’s trying to summon the ghost of the Sunset Strip. the kind of molten, high‑octane guitar fury that feels ripped straight out of a midnight back‑alley gig on the ’84 Crüe tour. Every note he hits comes loaded with danger, swagger, and that unmistakable Hollywood sleaze that turns a simple riff into a full‑blown sonic punch to the jaw!

Holding down the low-end, Larry Cassiano brings that dirty, grinding bass thump that makes the floorboards vibrate below your feet! The kind of low‑frequency assault that doesn’t just shake the room, it rearranges your internal organs and dares the crowd to keep standing through the impact!

And behind the kit, Ryan Gillan drives the whole machine with a drummer’s fury — tight, loud, and built for maximum destruction! Every strike he lands feels like a controlled explosion, the kind of precision chaos that turns a simple beat into a battlefield and makes the whole room pulse like it’s strapped to a live detonator ready to explode!

{My Take On Red Hot}

Red Hot – The Mötley Crüe Experience doesn’t just bring danger — they weaponize it. This Sin City beast hits the stage like a pack of outlaws with nothing to lose, with Rob Hussey snarling like he’s fronting a riot, the Cassiano brothers — Larry and Laurent — ripping strings like they’re trying to resurrect every neon‑soaked ghost on the Sunset Strip, and Ryan Gillan pounding the kit with the precision of a man who knows exactly where to place the next explosion. This isn’t a tribute — it’s a high‑voltage, leather‑clad threat, the kind of show that feels like it could blow the doors off the venue if someone breathes wrong!

"Red Hot makes Tommy Lee look like an angel in leather, turning every show into a high‑voltage, pyro‑free riot that feels one wrong breath away from blowing the roof off the room"

~Gary England~

{My Rock journalist slash fan review of last night}

Last night at the Copa Room inside the Tuscany Suites, Dirty Ratt and Red Hot – The Mötley Crüe Experience didn’t just play a show — they tag‑teamed a full‑scale metal takeover. Dirty Ratt came in swinging like a five‑man street battalion, and Red Hot followed with that Crüe‑level danger that makes the chandeliers in the high-limit room nervous. Two killer bands, two different flavors of chaos, and together they proved Vegas still knows how to throw a night that leaves your ears ringing and your soul grinning!

The Tuscany Suites Copa Room deserves its own standing ovation — bar staff moving like rock‑and‑roll ninjas, sound and lighting dialed in like a world‑class arena, and management running the whole operation like pros who know they’re hosting something special. It’s one bada$$ room built for rock stars, a place where bands don’t just perform — they explode in the moment!

What a five‑star night… hell, let’s be honest — give both metal bands and the venue ten stars. Nights like this make me want to be a bad boy too!

Retrosonic’s Time‑Machine Throwdown Saturday Night Inside The Tuscany Suites Casino Copa Room: Rock Is Here To Stay!

 1st, Happy Father's Day!

Saturday, June 20th, 2026

Last night didn’t just hit—it revived something in me I haven’t felt in decades of doing this gig.

After 27 years covering the Vegas scene and another 30 grinding in Dallas, I’ve seen more bands than most people meet in a lifetime. But every once in a while, a night comes along that reminds you exactly why you fell in love with rock ’n’ roll in the first place.

Retrosonic did that. They didn’t just play—they ignited the Copa Room inside the Tuscany Suites & Casino and turned it into a living, breathing celebration to the gods of classic rock!

The whole night screamed one message loud enough to rattle the neon signs down on the Las Vegas strip: Rock Is Here To Stay!

Last night was the perfect storm—fans of every age packed in shoulder‑to‑shoulder, local rock stars scattered through the crowd, pho‑togs firing away, journalists scribbling like mad, everyone chasing that one electric moment when you realize rock isn’t nostalgia… It’s forever!

And that’s because of bands like Retrosonic. And venues like the Copa Room, one of the last true Vegas stages, where the amps still roar and the walls still sweat Rock Music!

About the band— Retrosonic is pure, unfiltered Rock ’n’ Roll. No gimmicks. No shortcuts. Just six killer musicians who know exactly how to honor the soundtrack of four generations.

A tribute to the 60s, 70s, 80s, and 90s, delivered with the kind of fire that makes you forget you’re watching a modern band and not stepping straight into a time machine!

Retrosonic didn’t just play a show—they detonated a three‑hour time‑warp through the 60s, 70s, 80s, and 90s, ripping through decades like they owned every riff ever written. Tom Petty. Stevie Nicks. Robert Palmer. Skynyrd. Kiss. Thin Lizzy. Devo. Blondie. And then they slammed the night shut with Twisted Sister’s “We’re Not Gonna Take It.” Pure, unapologetic rock carnage!

And Retrosonic’s core lineup? A full‑throttle machine built for maximum impact!

Kelly Goodwin on lead vocals—easy on the eyes, lethal on the mic! Need I say more?

Keith Robert War ripping lead guitar like it’s a full‑contact sport! He's the modern-day Karate Kid in the music industry!

Mike Hall grinding out rhythm guitar with grit and swagger! He makes himself heard in every selection!

David St. John anchoring the low end on bass. Quiet in nature, but don't let that fool ya, he's a BaDDA$$ Bass playing machine!

Justin Mather painting the room in rock n' roll colors with his keys! (Keyboards)

And Vinnie Castaldo pounding the drums like he’s trying to wake the entire Las Vegas Strip.

And just when the Copa Room was already shaking and baking last night. Retrosonic unleashed their VERY SPECIAL GUESTS! Not “special” like a polite intro—But VERY SPECIAL GUESTS, like in "Vegas royalty" came crashing the stage.

Miss Abby Ortiz — AKA Victoria Voxxx — strutting in with that star‑power presence that makes the whole room lean forward and take notice!

Michael Maysonet — Big BaDD drum slayer, Vegas legend, world famous artist, sitting in for a few songs turning the drum kit into molten lava!

Mark Huff — stepping up to the mic like the rock‑and‑roll gunslinger he is!

And Bree Elizabeth —The voice of The Far Worst Band and a Vegas Firestarter in her own right—brought a whole new voltage to the stage!

When these four hit the stage, you don’t ask questions—you just buckle up tight for the ride!

They’ve got the look. They’ve got the chops. They’ve got the swagger. And most importantly, they’ve got the soul of rock running through every note they perform!

The Copa Room was packed—standing room only, shoulder‑to‑shoulder, buzzing like a live wire. And when half the Vegas rock scene shows up on their night off? That’s not a coincidence. That’s a signal that Something special was happening on that stage—and everyone in the room knew it! Local rock stars last night (That I saw in the darkness of the room) included members from Count's 77, Cyanide, The Far Worst (The entire band), Mary Kryah, and VOXXX.

And a big shoutout to my friend Keith Celentano. One of the top Rock photographers in the world! It was an honor to stand and shoot pictures with you last night!

{My Take}

What an absolutely electric night—one of those Vegas moments that hits you right in the chest and reminds you why this city still bleeds rock ’n’ roll.

With bands like Retrosonic tearing up the stage and venues like the Copa Room carrying the torch for real live music, there’s no doubt about it:

Rock ’n’ roll isn’t just alive in Las Vegas—it's thriving, snarling, and refusing to fade out!

A night like that doesn’t whisper its message. It shouts it from the neon rooftops: Rock is here to stay!

The Gospel According To Classic Rock ’n’ Roll: Freeman Brady Barnes And McKee Bring Their Message To Their Fans At The Tuscany Suites Copa Room On Sunday

 Sunday, May 31st, 2026

With a rare Sunday off from writing, I finally made my way back to the Rock ’n’ Roll Church at the Copa Room inside the Tuscany Suites Casino. I hadn’t seen it live in months, only through the firestorm of clips on social media, but trust me, this show still hits like a freight train of pure rock energy.

Click on the pic to enlarge

Andrew Freeman was out front preaching the gospel on vocals, with Christian Brady shredding on lead guitar, Barry Barnes holding down the low end, and Shon McKee driving the whole thing from behind the kit. For two straight hours, they delivered soul‑shaking rock, stories, laughs, and those little bits of rock‑star wisdom that only come from musicians who’ve lived it.

And the setting? Only the Copa Room can pull off that church‑meets‑concert vibe. Spirits flowing, brunch just steps away, and a room full of people ready to lift their hands, their voices, and maybe their Bloody Marys.

It’s the perfect Sunday hang with great friends, killer classic rock, good laughs, good food, and a little adult refreshment to round it out. If you’re looking for a way to recharge your body and soul, get yourself to the next Rock ’n’ Roll Church. You’ll walk out feeling way better than when you walked in!

The Featured Band..

Closing out the night was Jason Walker and the Majestic 12, who brought their signature blend of classic rock vibes and modern-day storytelling. {My Take}

Motormouth Promotions' "Vamp'd Beyond" came out swinging Friday night with a Hard Rock Music Extravaganza showcase that not only got the full attention of Las Vegas music fans, but the entire music world! Their first night at the Copa Room wasn’t a test, it was a triumph that will go down in the music history of Las Vegas. From the euphoric atmosphere, to the awesome lineup of Top-Shelf Bands, to the sights and sounds that filled the historic venue, Motormouth Promotions' Vegas Beyond's debut proved that Las Vegas still has a pulse for real, live, local music!

Once again, Korie & Danny Koker have shown why they're such a huge driving force behind the Local Las Vegas Music Scene! Thank you both for a night to remember!

This fan (And Journalist) can't wait to see what's next for Motormouth Promotions and for Vamp'd Beyond!
