Load In Sound Right 90 Minutes of Sammy: Aliante Hotel Welcomed Three Lock Box Home With Style Saturday Night August 15th!

When word first leaked that Three Lock Box was rolling into the Aliante Hotel Casino showroom on August 15th, that date didn’t just catch my attention — it slammed itself onto my music and entertainment calendar like a power chord hitting the mix. This was one of those “drop everything, clear the night, charge the phone, we’re going” moments that every Vegas rock fan knows by heart!

I wanted to crank the volume as high as it would go and let Las Vegas — and anyone else within earshot — know that Three Lock Box, the best and most recognizable tribute to Sammy Hagar on the planet, was officially heading back home. Over a year since playing Las Vegas! When a band like that points their compass toward the neon, you don’t whisper it… You broadcast it like a stadium‑sized announcement!

I figured the only way to do this right was to go full‑throttle — write a stack of promos, then cover their homecoming from the first cable hitting the stage to the last chord ringing out. Load‑in, sound check, backstage buzz, the whole adrenaline‑soaked climb to showtime. Beginning to end, no shortcuts, no half‑measures — just the complete Three Lock Box return to Vegas in all its Red Rocker glory!

Pictured below are a few shots I grabbed during load‑in and sound check, catching Three Lock Box in that raw, behind‑the‑curtain zone where the real magic starts to spark.

Saturday night didn’t just start at 3pm — it rolled in like a backstage thunderstorm. The band hit the lot with cases, cables, and attitude, unloading gear like a small army preparing for battle. Guitars came out of their coffins, amps stacked up like concrete blocks, and drum kits exploded into place piece by piece.

Onstage, it was all motion — tuning strings, warming up voices, dialing in tones, checking lights, tightening bolts, and making sure every sight and sound screamed rock‑star ready.

And once the machines were humming and the stage was locked in? It was finally time to grab some food, kick back, and breathe before their big homecoming throwdown at 8pm!

When the lights dropped and the crowd leaned in, it was officially showtime — that electric moment when the stage becomes a living, breathing beast. And before the first chord hit the air, the lineup stepped into the glow like a crew built for a Saturday‑night takeover.

{Spotlighting The Band}

Jay Cee — Lead Vocals & Guitar

Jay Cee doesn’t just front the band — he drives it. He’s the spark plug, the Firestarter, the guy whose voice cuts through the room like a neon blade. His guitar work adds the grit, but it’s the swagger in his delivery that makes the crowd lean forward. He’s the storyteller, the showman, the one who sets the tone for the night.

Steve Heath — Lead Guitar

Steve is the band’s sonic sniper. Every riff is sharp; every solo is a controlled explosion. He’s got that veteran Vegas precision — the kind that comes from years of stages, sweat, and late‑night sets. When he steps forward for a lead break, the whole room shifts into “watch this” mode.

Merry Adin — Bass

Merry is the anchor — the pulse — the low‑end architect who keeps the whole machine glued together. Her bass lines don’t just support the songs; they drive them. She brings groove, attitude, and that cool, unshakeable stage presence that every great rock band needs.

Brenda Fitz — Keys

Brenda isn’t just part of the band — she’s the secret weapon hiding in plain sight. Her keyboard work brings the shimmer, the atmosphere, and that big, cinematic lift that turns a rock song into a full‑blown moment.

Whether she’s laying down warm, glowing pads, tearing through soulful keyboard runs, or dropping those classic rock textures that make a song feel larger than life, Brenda is the color in the band’s palette. This musician makes everything sound bigger, brighter, and bolder.

Danny Robert — Drums

Danny is the heartbeat — the engine — the guy who makes the stage shake. His drumming is tight, loud, and locked‑in, the kind of playing that keeps the band flying but never out of control. Every fill hit like a punch, every groove lands like a statement. He’s the backbone of the night.

Miss Sherri Klein — Dancer & Stage Performer

Sherri brings the movement, the flash, the Vegas heat. She’s the visual spark that turns a rock show into a full‑blown experience. Her presence adds energy, attitude, and that unmistakable showbiz flair — the kind that makes the crowd feel like they’re part of something bigger than just a concert.

Together? They’re a Vegas‑born rock machine.

A lineup built for big stages, loud nights, and homecoming crowds ready to erupt!

They didn’t just erupt — they exploded onstage! The moment the band hit the stage, the night blew wide open with a blast of Sammy‑powered adrenaline. They launched straight into a firestorm of classics, kicking things off with “Why Can’t This Be Love”, then driving head‑first into “Top of the World” and “Best of Both Worlds.”

From there, the set turned into a full‑tilt rock barrage — a molten mix of “Right Now–Heavy Metal,” “Three Lock Box,” “Your Love Is Driving Me Crazy,” “When It’s Love,” and “Finish What Ya Started.”

Then came the moment that hit deeper than the bass: a heartfelt dedication of “Eagles Fly” to our United States Veterans, a salute that lifted the entire room.

And when it was time to shut the place down, they slammed the door with a triple‑threat finale — “Rock Candy,” “I Can’t Drive 55,” and “There’s Only One Way to Rock.”

Ninety minutes. Non‑stop. Wall‑to‑wall Sammy Hagar classics delivered with the force of a Vegas explosion.

{My Take}

After ninety minutes of pure Sammy Hagar fire, the band stepped offstage and walked straight out to the casino, to the front of the showroom, where fans were waiting with open arms. They stayed, they talked, they posed for pictures — turning the end of the night into a personal moment shared with the people who made it all possible. It felt like the perfect full‑circle finish to their homecoming: a night of music, memories, and a band giving back to the crowd that gives them their fire!

Huge thanks to Three Lock Box and the entire crew at the Aliante Hotel Casino for throwing down a homecoming night that felt like a neon‑lit celebration of everything we love about live rock in Las Vegas. And a special thanks to Patrick “Crash” Smith for keeping the whole operation running smoothly and steady — the behind‑the‑scenes force that keeps Three Lock Box firing on all cylinders.

What a way to bring the family back together!

Let’s fire this up again — real soon!

The Ultimate Sammy Hagar Experience: Three Lock Box Returns Home To The Aliante Casino Hotel Showroom Saturday Night August 15th!

Tickets

Three Lock Box — the world’s most famous, most explosive, and most dead‑on tribute to Sammy Hagar — is rolling into North Las Vegas on Saturday night, August 15th, like a red‑hot comet, ready to ignite the Aliante Casino Hotel’s plush showroom for one unforgettable night!

This is Las Vegas turned all the way up: blazing lights, velvet‑smooth sound, with Jay Cee hitting the stage with so much Red Rocker fire that the crowd will double‑take and swear Sammy himself just strutted in from the Strip.

And the band behind him? Pure Vegas horsepower!

On lead guitar, Steve Heath tears into every riff with that molten‑metal precision — the kind of tone that slices through the room like a chrome‑plated jet engine. On bass, Merry Adin locks down the low end with a thunderous groove, shaking the floorboards like the Fremont Street Experience on a Saturday night. On keys, Brenda Fitz paints the air with shimmering synth lines and velvet‑smooth textures, giving every song that classic Hagar lift and arena‑sized shine. On drums, Danny Robert drives the whole machine — a rhythmic powerhouse whose snare cracks hit like neon lightning and whose kick drum feels like the heartbeat of North Las Vegas itself. And adding that irresistible Vegas heat, Sherri Klein brings her sexy, seductive dancer energy to the stage — a hypnotic presence that turns every song into a full‑blown spectacle. Out front, Jay Cee delivers the voice, the swagger, the fire‑in‑the‑gut attitude — and at first glance, you’ll swear Sammy himself just walked into the spotlight.

Expect the full Hagar arsenal — the anthems, the scream‑along classics, the deep‑cut gems — delivered with the kind of high‑octane precision that made Three Lock Box the global gold standard of Hagar tributes. It all goes down Saturday night, August 15th at 8 PM. Inside the Aliante Casino Hotel Showroom

Three Lock Box Velvet Chains Headline Count's Vamp'd Las Vegas

Friday night, May 16th, 2025

Arriving at the club.

The familiar rumble of amps echoed from inside Count’s Vamp’d, with a sense of change hanging deeply in the air. Tonight was more than just another rock show with two amazing bands. It was like a love letter to one of Las Vegas’s most iconic live music venues, soon to close its doors after years of championing the city’s classic rock music scene. For fans, musicians, and loyal regulars, it wasn’t just about the bands on stage; it was about honoring the legacy of Count's Vamp'd, a place that's given so many local and touring bands a home and has given thousands of fans (Including Me) some unforgettable memories!

Opening the night was Velvet Chains, who I call one of the fastest rising stars of the hard rock scene. Velvet Chains took the stage and gave the packed house a blistering, high-energy performance. Highlighting the band's dynamic blend of hard rock and melodic hooks. With a BaDD-A$$ look and sound that you won't soon forget!

About Velvet Chains - "The fastest rising stars of the hard rock scene".

Velvet Chains’ biggest opportunities so far have been the 2024 South American run with Slash, Myles Kennedy & the Conspirators, and the May 2025 Brazil support dates with Stone Temple Pilots.

On the U.S. side, they’ve steadily built local credits, frequently opening for hard-rock mainstays Todd Kerns and L.A. Guns at venues such as Count’s Vamp’d and The House of Blues.

Festival appearances (e.g., PorĂ£o do Rock) show the band branching beyond club supports into mixed-genre outdoor bills, exposing them to broader audiences around the world.

This lineup reflects the band's evolution, with Chaz Terra and Philip Paulsen joining in 2025, bringing fresh energy to the group. Long-standing member Nils Goldschmidt, who founded the band in 2018, continue to anchor Velvet Chains' signature sound. Better yet, catch one of their upcoming shows! {Velvet Chains Calendar}

Take it from this music journalist, these guys Rock Hard!

Three Lock Box.

To me, Three Lock Box is the next best thing to the Red Rocker himself!

Band Members (Pictured Left to Right)

What can you say about this amazing band? They covered over 20 songs in a little over an hour and a half. Brought in Super Rockers Rob Hussey, John Zito, and Stoney Curtis to heat up the party.

Three Lock Box covered the entire era of Sammy Hagar. From the beginnings of Montrose, to fronting Van Halen, Chickenfoot, to The Circle. Dedicating "Dreams" to the entire staff of Vamp'd, and to owners Danny & Korie Koker. Ending their final performance inside Vamp'd with "There's Only One Way To Rock".

Three Lock Box Set List 5/16/2025

As the final roar of “I Can’t Drive 55” and "There's Only One Way To Rock" dissolved into feedback and the house lights in Count’s Vamp’d snapped from crimson to white, something lingered in the air—part tequila haze, part shared nostalgia, all pure rock-and-roll camaraderie. Three Lock Box didn’t merely revisit Sammy Hagar’s back-catalog; they reminded a packed Vegas room why these songs still rev the collective engine four decades on.

If Count’s Vamp’d truly is steering toward its last curtain call, May 16, 2025, proved it can still throw one hell of a party!

I'll Drink To That!
