Rocking The Treasure Island Hotel Casino Breeze Bar: A Night of Classic Rock Music and Remembrance With Paul Shortino & Mitch Perry!

 Friday night, September 11th, 2026

Friday night inside Treasure Island Hotel & Casino’s Breeze Bar, Paul Shortino and Mitch Perry treated the packed room to nearly three hours of classic rock music, plus a stirring 25th‑anniversary 9/11 tribute that hit the crowd with both real power and heart!

Throughout the night, Paul Shortino kept dropping heartfelt nods to 9/11, speaking from a place that still burns in his heart. Every time he and Mitch Perry launched into another song, it hit like a midnight flare, two rock warriors firing riffs into the sky in remembrance of what went down in New York City 25 years ago.

The tone for the night hit like a neon‑lit moment with Eric Clapton’s “Change the World,” rolling straight into the funk‑shaken swagger of “Shakey Ground.” From there it was a glide through Steve Winwood’s “Can’t Find My Way Home,” a stomp through Led Zeppelin’s “Ramble On,” and a soul‑grabbing, truly touching blast of Billy Joel’s “New York State of Mind.”

Then the room shifted gears — Marvin Gaye, Leon Russell, Whitesnake, Allman Brothers, The Eagles, Chicago — all firing off like a jukebox possessed. And when “Bang Your Head” and “Cum On Feel The Noize” from the legendary Quiet Riot detonated, the place lit up like neon on the Las Vegas Strip. Jefferson Airplane, Stevie Wonder, and a long list of heavy hitters rounded out a night that felt like flipping through the greatest mixtape ever burned onto the Vegas skyline!

Ending the night, Paul Shortino and Mitch Perry delivered a truly touching, emotional, heartfelt salute to 9/11, closing the room in a way only seasoned rock souls can. When they launched into the Star‑Spangled Banner and God Bless America, it wasn’t just music — it was a moment that hung in the air like a spotlight on the nation’s memory, powerful enough to stop every heartbeat in the room!

{My Take}

Sending out a big, loud emotional thank you to Paul Shortino and Mitch Perry for delivering a night that was not only extremely entertaining but also woven with powerful moments of remembrance. It was Classic Rock at full throttle — the kind of night that keeps your adrenaline humming — mixed with heartfelt tributes honoring the 25th anniversary of September 11th, 2001.

Your song choices, your spoken words, and the way you blended celebration with reflection created the perfect balance for such a meaningful occasion. You didn’t just play a show — you crafted a night that honored the past while rocking the present moment!

Paul and Mitch are set to take the stage again tonight — Saturday, September 12th at 7pm.

They’ll be returning next month on Friday, October 2nd and Saturday, October 3rd, to the Breeze Bar inside the Treasure Island Hotel Casino. (7pm showtimes)

Until then, keep on Rocking and keep that American Spirit and Classic Rock heartbeat alive!

Tonight Saturday August 22nd: Paul Shortino & Mitch Perry Bring The Heat Back To The Treasure Island Hotel's Breeze Bar!

Last night I rolled down the LV Strip and straight into the neon glow of Treasure Island’s Breeze Bar, where Paul Shortino and Mitch Perry were already warming the room like two rock‑and‑roll demigods tuning up for battle. The place was packed — locals, tourists, die‑hard music freaks — all crammed in shoulder‑to‑shoulder, waiting for this Best of Las Vegas‑nominated duo to light the fuse.

Even during soundcheck, these two weren’t “warming up.” They were detonating. Shortino’s voice hit the room like a velvet sledgehammer, and Perry — part guitarist, part keyboard sorcerer — carved riffs that made the Breeze Bar feel like a backstage jam at Madison Square Garden.

The show launched around seven with “Shooting Star” by Bad Company, and from there it was a full‑throttle ride through the soundtrack of America’s wild heart: Bee Gees, The Temptations, Blood, Sweat & Tears, Rod Stewart, Allman Brothers, Journey — and then the Quiet Riot classic “Bang Your Head”, delivered by the Quiet Riot man himself, Paul Freakin’ Shortino.

Later came the heavy artillery: “Whole Lotta Love,” “Ramble On,” Marvin Gaye soul, Grace Slick psychedelia, CTA brass, and a knockout closer with “What a Wonderful World.” Only in Vegas do you get Zeppelin, Motown, and Louis Armstrong in the same set — and only Shortino & Perry can make it feel like one seamless, swaggering story.

Two world‑class guitarists. Mitch the keyboard wizard. Paul’s unmistakable, world‑famous voice. When you see them live, you instantly get why they’re nominated for Best of Las Vegas 2026 — Lounge Act.

They’re back at it tonight, 7–10 PM, inside the Breeze Bar at Treasure Island. And if you want to support real Vegas talent, you can vote for them at www.votebolv.com under the Lounge Act category.

Have A BaDD-A$$ Saturday Night!

The Dynamic Duo Of Acoustic Music: Last Night With Paul Shortino & Mitch Perry Inside Treasure Island Breeze Bar

Friday nights in Las Vegas are all about musicians who own the room, and that’s exactly what the "Dynamic Duo of Acoustic Music" Paul Shortino and Mitch Perry did last night the moment they stepped onstage.

Click On The Pictures To Enlarge The Photos

Paul Shortino doesn’t just sing — he commands the stage like a general leading a rock‑and‑roll battalion. That voice of his is pure Vegas grit: warm, smoky, and built from a lifetime of rock stages, metal anthems, world tours, and late‑night gigs where only the toughest musicians survive. When Shortino leans into a lyric, it’s not just sound — it’s history. You hear the miles he’s logged from Hollywood, all around the world, to the neon glow of Las Vegas, every note carrying the weight of decades spent living inside the music. He doesn’t perform songs; he performs stories, and every one of them hits with the force of someone who’s been there, done it, and still loves every second on that stage.

Mitch Perry is the kind of musician who makes an entire room pause without ever asking for attention — you’re mid‑sip, mid‑conversation, mid‑Vegas‑moment, and suddenly locked in on his hands because the way he plays is its own kind of hypnosis. His guitar work is fluid and cinematic, almost liquid in the air, those soft drifting lines gliding through the Breeze Bar with effortless grace. Then he moves to the keys and the whole room shifts, laying down lush, velvet layers that wrap around the crowd and turn the space into its own little universe where time slows down, and the music becomes the atmosphere. Mitch Perry doesn’t play at you; he plays around you, building a warm, immersive, impossibly smooth sonic environment you can settle into, relax inside, and just let the night happen — the unmistakable vibe of a master at work.

Together, they’re not just a duo — they’re two rock star legends shaping the night with precision, soul, and that easy confidence you only get from a lifetime onstage. Last night, their slow‑and‑easy sets weren’t mellow by accident; they were crafted, intentional, and perfect for a Strip Friday night, where the neon hum outside Treasure Island meets the warm glow of the Breeze Bar inside!

Last night played out like a famous Las Vegas buffet of classic rock greatness, with Paul Shortino and Mitch Perry serving up course after course of the richest cuisine! They rolled through Bad Company, The Bee Gees, The Temptations, sliding into Blood, Sweat & Tears' “God Bless the Child” and Rod Stewart’s “Forever Young.” Then came the soul‑soaked Etta James, the arena‑heart Journey, a taste of Zeppelin, Marvin Gaye, Grace Slick, and of course a little acoustic nod to Quiet Riot — Paul Shortino’s old stomping grounds. Three straight hours of acoustic classics delivered the way only the Dynamic Duo of Paul Shortino and Mitch Perry can perform them! They wrapped it all with their signature closer, “Wonderful World,” leaving the Breeze Bar glowing and everyone inside, and out on the adjoining casino floor, feeling like they’d just witnessed something really special. And they did! What a show!

They have my vote for Best Of Las Vegas!

Paul & Mitch are rolling right back into Treasure Island’s Breeze Bar tonight, keeping that acoustic magic flowing for another Vegas night! They’ll return later this month on the 21st and 22nd, then hit the Breeze Bar again on September 11th — a special 9‑11 show they’re already gearing up for — followed by another night on September 12th. Mark those dates on your music calendar and get ready to ride the groove with Paul Shortino and Mitch Perry.

See you there!

Treasure Island Breeze Bar Paul Shortino And Mitch Perry: Where The Real Fireworks Are At For America's 250th!

Last night inside the Treasure Island Hotel & Casino's Breeze Bar, the Strip felt like it had slipped back into its glory-days groove, that warm, analog hum of classic rock rolling through a packed room of fans, Vegas players, family, friends, and out-of-towners who knew they were catching lightning in a bottle.

Paul Shortino and Mitch Perry delivered a three-hour masterclass in rock lineage, jumping from the brass-driven punch of Chicago to the arena grit of Quiet Riot, the soul-heavy swing of Blood Sweat & Tears, the gospel-tinged warmth of Leon Russell, the wild-eyed fire of Edgar Winter, and the southern-fried swagger of the Allman Brothers Band.

Paul Shortino's soul-rich voice and wide-open range gave every song that lived-in authenticity only decades onstage can produce. At the same time, Mitch Perry moved between guitar and keys with the kind of effortless command that makes both instruments feel wired straight into his heartbeat. Together, they held the crowd locked in, no drifting, no chatter, just that classic rock communion where the room breathes as one. They're a must-see duo, and they're back again tonight (July 4th).

Two Music Legends One Stage: Treasure Island Hotel Casino Breeze Bar Presents The Show Of The Season!

 March 27th, 2026

TI Breeze Bar

Friday night inside the Treasure Island Hotel Casino, Breeze Bar felt like a private showcase from two world‑class rock veterans who know how to own a room. Paul Shortino and Mitch Perry didn’t just perform — they transformed the Breeze Bar into a warm, intimate, full‑throttle musical experience that reminded everyone why live music matters so much to the Las Vegas music scene!

The Breeze Bar itself set the tone: soft amber lighting, a close‑up stage, and that unmistakable hum of locals and tourists mixing together, drinks in hand, ready for something real. It’s the kind of venue where you can feel the music in your chest and see every expression on the performers’ faces — a perfect match for a duo of two rock star legends!

The duo set the tone immediately with Eric Clapton’s “Change the World,” a warm, soulful opener that showcased Paul Shortino’s signature vocal grit, rich, powerful, and unmistakably Shortino! Mitch Perry’s guitar work and his skill on the keys were fluid and expressive, the kind of playing that grabs your attention and keeps it!

From there, they drifted into Blind Faith’s “Can’t Find My Way Home,” a song that practically begs for emotional depth. Paul Shortino delivered it with a lived‑in authenticity, while Mitch Perry’s delicate touch on guitar and keys wrapped the room in a soft haze.

Then came the tunes that made the night special: Billy Joel’s “New York State of Mind,” delivered with smoky, late‑night swagger, and a heartfelt, pin‑drop‑quiet take on the Eagles’ “Desperado.” You could feel the entire bar leaning in.

But the magic of this show is the range. These two didn’t stick to one lane — they drove through the entire American songbook with confidence and fire. Marvin Gaye. Quiet Riot. The Allman Brothers. Foreigner. Edgar Winter. Tom Petty. The Doors. Chicago. The Doobie Brothers. Jackson Browne. David Clayton‑Thomas, and more. Every song felt like a tribute to the original artists. Reshaped with the duo's own swagger and chemistry, which makes the Shortino-Perry duo so special.

Paul Shortino, out front with that unmistakable voice — gritty, warm, powerful — proved once again why he’s one of rock’s most respected vocalists. His guitar work added texture, but his presence. That’s what filled the room.

Mitch Perry was a one‑man orchestra, switching between guitar, keys, and backup vocals with effortless mastery. His playing was emotional and razor‑sharp — the kind of musicianship that makes other musicians stop mid‑conversation just to watch.

The night closed with a moment of pure joy: Louis Armstrong’s “What a Wonderful World.” A perfect, heartfelt sendoff that left the Breeze Bar glowing and wanting for more!
