{My Take on The World in Which We Live In}
Everyone’s out there scratching their heads, wondering what it’s gonna take to fix this crazy world — but war? Man, that’s a dead-end street. And a “better” government? Nope, that’s just another suit promising the moon while we’re still stuck in the mud. The real change doesn’t come from bombs or ballots — it comes from people waking up, tuning in, and choosing peace over chaos, love over fear, and community over division.
Here's what I think would be a really good start for a better world!
It begins with my generation!
It might not cure the world, but it would be one heck of a start!
The hippie generation wasn’t just a moment in time — it was a whole state of mind, a neon‑bright blast of peace, love, and togetherness that tried to shake the world awake. We were the kids shouting, “Make love, not war!”, flashing peace signs, living by flower power, and believing that good vibes could actually change the planet. We marched with “Hell no, we won’t go!”, danced under banners of “Give peace a chance”, and let our freak flags fly higher than the desert sun. We tuned in, turned on, dropped out, questioned authority, kept on truckin’, and believed — truly believed — that power to the people wasn’t just a slogan; it was a promise!
I’m proud to come from that generation. Proud of the wild colors, the open hearts, the stubborn hope, the music that felt like a revolution, and the belief that humanity could do better if we just slowed down and listened to each other. And honestly? If that culture were still alive and kicking today — the real spirit of it, not the costume‑shop version —
I think we’d be living in a better world. A world with fewer nukes and more compassion, fewer divisions and more community, fewer fists and more flowers. Because the hippie dream wasn’t naïve. It was necessary. And it still is today!
