{My Take}

The 2026 Las Vegas Guitar Trade Show is built for the fans — the diehards who keep this town loud, electric, and unapologetically alive.

So, toss your favorites into the mix, tag the legends you want on that stage, and let’s craft a Saturday night lineup that rattles the Silverton Hotel Casino from the floorboards to the rafters.

Vegas is primed. The amps are humming. Time to crank it, Las Vegas.

Las Vegas Silverton Hotel Casino Hosts Construction vs Cancer This Coming Saturday November 8th 2025

 {Las Vegas, Nevada, event, Cancer, kids, fundraiser, Construction}

This Saturday, November 8, the Silverton Hotel Casino transforms into a high-energy construction carnival for a cause. Don’t miss the 2025 Construction vs Cancer event, 10 AM to 2 PM, benefiting the American Cancer Society.

Event Information

Construction vs Cancer Facebook

Dig Deep for a Cure Las Vegas is gearing up for one of its most heartwarming and hands-on charity events of the year. Construction vs Cancer returns to the Silverton Hotel Casino this Saturday, offering families, kids, and community members a chance to climb into the driver’s seat—literally—and help fight childhood cancer.

From 10 AM to 2 PM, the Silverton’s parking lot will be packed with towering construction equipment, interactive zones, food trucks, games, and live entertainment. The event is free to attend, with VIP Junior Operator tickets available for $25, giving kids exclusive access to operate real machinery under expert supervision.

Adding to the excitement, country-pop powerhouse Renee Nicole Maxwell will take the stage with a dynamic setlist spanning Shania Twain, Dolly Parton, Brooks & Dunn, and modern hits from Kacey Musgraves. Her high-voltage rendition of AC/DC’s “Thunderstruck” promises to be a showstopper!

Hosted by the American Cancer Society, Construction vs Cancer raises funds for pediatric cancer research, patient services, and advocacy. It’s more than a carnival—it’s a rallying cry for hope, resilience, and community action. Every dollar supports the mission to eliminate cancer as a major health concern and create more birthdays for children across Nevada and beyond.

What to Expect

• Heavy machinery rides for kids—including cancer patients and survivors

• Carnival-style games and activities

• Food trucks and refreshments

• Live music and performances

• Community booths and sponsor showcases

Dress Casual, Dig In. Closed-toe shoes are recommended, and don’t be afraid to get a little dusty—this is a construction-themed adventure, after all. Parking is available in the north garage, with a drop-off zone near registration.

Join the Movement. Whether you're a parent, a construction enthusiast, or simply someone who wants to make a difference, Construction vs Cancer is your chance to turn a Saturday into something unforgettable. Come for the fun, stay for the cause, and leave knowing you helped build hope.

This Saturday, we’re not just moving earth—we’re moving hearts. Come build hope, one ride at a time.
